Ooh La Vogue!

I love proving myself right, and to show you all i was not talking nonsense in my earlier post, Vogue agrees! Leathers, velvets and knits were published in their very wn Vogue loves issue, and if the gods of fashion say so, it MUST be so! Enjoy the pictures.

Luxurious fabrics are a huge trend right now, leathers, velvets and knits were just a few that were shown on every single hot designer's catwalk. I've found a few of the best on the high street & in the designer's collections.

Topshop is always a great alternative to designer when it comes to more fashion forward pieces. They're often the first branch to recreate the catwalks hottest trends.

Sheepskin Sleeveless Gilet
Sheepskin sleeveless gillet £195

Faux Sheepskin Flying Jacket
Flying aviator faux sheepskin £78
Leather A-Line Skirt
A line leather skirt £58
Leather Leggings By Boutique
Leather legging £250

Leather Tunic Dress
Leather tunic £150

My favourite store right now, Zara, has some amazing statement pieces using the best luxurious fabrics, their knitwear range is amazing.

JERSEY PELO EN HOMBROS
Jersey pelo en hemros £39.99

LEATHER SKIRT WITH POCKETS
leather skirt with pockets £159.00
VELVET BERMUDA PANTS
velvet Bermuda pants £39.99

LONG DOUBLE BREASTED CABLE STITCH JACKET WITH ELBOW PATCHES
double breasted cable knit cardigan £59.99

EMBELLISHED KNITTED CARDIGAN
embellished knitted cardigan £39.99

JACKET WITH PLUSH POINTS ON THE HEM
sleeveless cardigan with lush points around hem. I have this and it's beautiful. £29.99

One thing i have to post because I love them so much, these Ankle boots from Zara are just phenomenal. The chunky heel is beautiful and the dark leather kind of fits in with the luxurious theme? The exterior is 100% cow leather, the interior 100% goat skin...A vegetarian's worst shoe I imagine.

Another store that never seems to disappoint, or shut it's doors in that respect is the now hugely popular online store ASOS.com. I love it, personally, I can find absolutely anything on their, with a wide variety of prices and brands. This particular coat I've chosen had only recently become 'cool'. It's been to every single festival this year and some of the fashion elite have been seen wearing it. A great British favourite, ironically, my mother used to make me wear them when we went to the stables, and i hated it! However, my new liking to grandad fashion has led me straight to their waxed armholes. And I am surprisingly comfortable in there. Barbour jackets just had to feature on my list.

Net-a-porter is the easiest online shopping place for designer pieces, however they never seem to showcase many new up and coming collections.

Sandro
Sandro Vendetta alpaca and wool blend jacket
£325
Yves Saint Laurent
Yves Saint Laurent high waisted leather skirt
£1,430
Joseph
Joseph waxed skinny leather pants £585

Again, this statement gillet is so amazing! By DKNY this Hooded shearling-lined leather vest is a different take on the Aviator jacket trend set by Burburry Porsum in their A/W collection. I don't know why but i prefer the jackets sleeveless, I love the box-y shape of this too; if i had the £1,595 I would be wearing this right now!
